How to List and Promote Your Minecraft Server for Free

If you run a Minecraft server, getting your first real wave of players is usually the hardest part — and a Minecraft server list is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to do it. Here's how to list your server and actually get it seen.

Start by creating a free account and adding your server from your dashboard. You'll want your name, IP, a short description, gamemode tags and, ideally, a banner and logo image — listings with real artwork and a filled-out description consistently get more clicks than bare-bones entries with just an IP address. Add your Discord and website links too if you have them; these build trust and give visiting players somewhere to go before they even join.

Once listed, your server appears on the ranked list immediately, sorted mainly by votes and live activity. This is where a vote button and vote rewards matter. Finally, treat your server page like a landing page, not a formality. Write the description like you're pitching to a stranger who has never heard of your server: what makes it different, what gamemode it is, and why someone should join today instead of scrolling to the next listing.
